Fasting to Lose 20 pounds.

What to do when you want to get some fat loss results fast? You fast (I know bad pun, just couldn’t help it).

Actually even with the bad pun, the idea is actually not that bad. I personally do not recommend fasting as a way to live or a lifestyle.

Losing weight can be frustration for many people (almost for everyone). With so much information overload, you’d guess we should have found the holy grail of losing weight. But No, with information, the quality of advice dropped. Anyways we are not here to talk about the information.

Fasting is one process that can help you kick start your fat loss process in no time. You’d be surprised how efficient it can be if you just plan ahead. On side note : People believe fasting to be religious process, but it’s not. In fact in every religion (Hindu, Islam, Christian etc) they talk about fasting as purification of body and mind.

Today I am going to introduce you to intermittent fasting. There are many faces of this kind of fasting and it started with short term fasts 24 hr in length, once or twice per week. Since then it has been optimized by many experts to increase the efficiency and get better results.

One of the easiest way to fast is by fixing few hours every day. I’ve noticed this technique of fasting is often used by people who are into any kind of sport. And they require energy output enough to perform in their sports (often martial arts).

When you follow this kind of fasting, you’ll start dropping excess fat almost immediately. Losing couple of inches in first week is pretty much norm around here.
