Skinny with Love Handles?
Did you recently that nasty little bulge around your waist while checking out new clothes? You thought, only fat people get tyres around the waist.
People often believe if they are thin, they won’t have love handles. Which is often very untrue. The problem with skinny people is that, they can’t use typical diet plans (that are often suited for heavier people).
So, they end up confusing and frustrated. Don’t worry about it, as long as I am here, I’ll help you solve your problem.
Diet or Nutrition?
Now, you can’t typically use normal diet plans. So you have to focus on “Nutrition” aspect of diet. If you are skinny, chances are you are not eating right.
So you should first cut down on all the junk food.
Second, you should start eating right. That means, lots of protein, good carbs, good fat amount. Having love handles basically means, you don’t have good diet (rather eating right).
Avoid all kinds of package or un-natural foods (i.e chips). If you can eat anything in it’s pure form (the way you can find food in nature), it’s alright.
Now as we’ve covered the food here. Let’s talk about workout.
What kind of workout?
You should spend most of your times lifting weight. You can opt for either strength training routine or bodybuilding routine.
I do not recommend you to start with “Split body” part type of bodybuilding routine.
Start with 3-5 days program, where you workout your whole body. Do not use machines found in gyms, they are pretty useless. It’s better if you use free weights like barbell, dumb-bell, kettlebell.
If you start with this kind of program, then you’ll be able to shrink your love handles in no time. Don’t believe a second about people who blaim their genetics. Its’ your body, you can mould however you want, provided you are ready to work.
