Speed up metabolism – Why you should stop worrying about genetics stopping you?
You’d be surprised by how many people blame their weighty issues on their own genetics. According to them, their parents were fat, their grandparents were fat, so they are doomed to be fat. I, for one, never cared about rules. So when all the genetics in my family was against me, I struck out on my own.
It didn’t take me much time, in proving myself. Yes, Almost everyone is my immediately family is more than little heavy. But I know how to handle this issue and get leaner.
So what’s stopping you to get your dream body?
My first answer is, your mind. If you keep blaming your genes, you wont be able to get out of this rut. You have to make up your mind. Make a commitment for next 30 days to whatever it takes to lose weight.
You should renew this commitment at every 30 days. When you’ve achieved your goal. You should make new commitment on being lean and keeping the weight off forever. It just starts with first 30 days.
2nd thing I want you to do is to set aside a time, where you workout daily without any break. 30 minutes is minimum time limit I ask you to. If you add 10 minute warm up. You are going to spend 40 minutes every day (at least 6 days/week) to workout.
You can chose many types of workouts. I prefer a hybrid workout which consists of strength training and weight lifting. A warning – If you are not used to workout regularly. You should ease into your workout plan. Doing it too much first day will only get you hurt. Bad idea that.
After you’ve decided on your workout, you should spend time on your diet plan. I highly recommend you to cut down some carbs, lower your calories intake and fix most of your meal in natural form (no more canned stuff). That also means no more junk food for you. This is easiest way to explain the simplest diet I know.
With mindset, workout and diet plan, you are pretty much set to defy your genetics. All you need is faith on the program and keep focused on your goals. If you do just that, you’ll be able to speed up your metabolism and manipulate your genes.
