I got an email from Vandana Jain (Banglore, India).
“Varun, I want to get rid of weight from hips and thighs. On other websites, I see people talking about using ball and twists etc. What do you recommend?”
First thing Vandana, There’s only one thing I found to be really effective against hip fat. Balls and twists aren’t one of those. You can work on thighs with many other exercises but hips are different deals.
Your answer is “Sprints”. Find a Park nearby and Add 2 days/ week sprint training in your training schedule. I’d start trying 100 m sprints X 10 reps. As you get better with sprint you can increase the distance upto 400 m per sprint.
Sprints are killer workout, specially if you are sprint on beaches or stairs or hills.
Oh find a good pair of shoes for sprinting. Note: If you are really fat, you want to add sprints in your plan, then start with whatever you feel good. Just increase your efforts weekly or every 10 days.
