Strengthening your weaker hand
Strength training for your weaker hand…
If you have been working out with weights and barbells, then you know that your dominant hand is stronger. I am writing this article as one of visitor on this blog commented on it and wanted some ideas to work.
Its really common for you to have a weaker hand as dominant hand is stronger. You can easily correct it by practice. Read my grip strength training articles on this blog. Additionally use exercises like pull ups, chin ups, sandbag training and kettlebell training
What I like to do is train my hands individually. I don’t use barbell for this as I can easily cheat. I prefer using sandbag, kettlebells to train my both hands.
Here’s how to build your weak hand stronger.
1. If you are building your grips, tendons, you’ll notice immediate increase in strength of your weaker arm. Your dominant hand is stronger because it is more practice of lifting weights etc.
2. To build your grips, tendons and joints of your weaker hand, all you need is use Odd objects and lift them up. That’s why I recommend you to use kettlebells, sandbags etc. Lift objects that are hard to grip. You’ll see the difference in just one week in this kind of training.
3. Kettlebell training forces you to strengthen your grip because of odd shape and exercise methods. Additionally you can add pull ups and chin ups.
Just using these methods I saw amazing results in a week and in a month I found because of this kind of training, my overall lifting has improved.
