Can you turn fat into muscles?
“I want to turn my fat into muscles”
I hear this statement in one form or another. Often people are desperate enough to ask “if they can”. And often there are people who’ll say “Yes, You can”.
Unfortunately, it’s not true. As you cannot turn apples into oranges. You cannot turn Fat into muscles.
But if you follow a good workout and diet plan, you sure can create an illusion where it’ll look like your fat is turning into muscles.
This illusion happens because of the difference between the density of fat and muscles. Muscles are compact, fat is porous.
So You cannot turn fat into muscles. But You can burn your fat and build muscles.
Burning fat requires speeding up your metabolism. You don’t burn your fat while you are working out and there’s no such thing called “Fat burning Zone”. Ah my pet peeve it is. Fat burning zone, we’ll talk about it later.
So how do you start shedding your fat and building muscles.
Chose a workout from Bodyweight or Kettlebell or Barbell sections. Do not use machines. And get working on them. Any workout you do will help you improve your metabolism.
