You are just too darn week…

Argh… today I am in bit of ranting mode… Recently I got into talk with one of the those Gym Bunnies and I blew my head off on his constant whining on “How he doesn’t seem to gain any muscles even though he’s eating and exercising right”.

Well I got into my lecture mode and gave him piece of my mind…. Sometimes I think I should stop listening to people unless they are paying me top dollar, m ay be I should do that exactly.

My assessment of this fellow was simply this… He was just too darn week. He was weak mentally. He didn’t had enough up there to build strong body.  Lifting 10/20 pounds dumbells with 20 reps of 5 sets doesn’t challenge your body or your mind. How in the world you’d grow?

Let me ask you a question. What do you think is weakness? Or, What do you understand by being strong? It’s kind a funny that people measure strength by asking “how much bench you can lift?” or how big his biceps are.

When we are talking about being strong, we meant by strength which is functional.

If you have big biceps and you can’t do single pull up, they are of no use to you, it’s waste, similarly if you have washboards abs and you need to use belt while lifting 100 pound barbell.

It’s waste of time, efforts and strength. I am here talking about Functional Strength.

It’s laughable when you can put hours in gym and then still you need laxatives to go to the bathroom in the mornings. It’s amusing, isn’t it? how today we don’t even have control of our own body, forget talking about mind or senses.

Today our so called Homo-sapiens (Modern Man) shove all kind of things (unnatural basically) to become strong. They see people going into gym and doing exercise and in imitating them they do the same. Almost every Gym instructor I know is accused of giving advice of having “X” Magical (whey/creatine) protein powder to become strong.

Same goes for people who wants to loose weight. They don’t want to loose weight naturally and keep their options for ‘slim pills’. These products not only put chemicals in your body but also makes your weakens your body functions.

Heh… then they say “don’t forget to drink excess water with this stuff”

So in effort to bring people into light about these things I am trying to give methods and ways to live and lead a lifestyle free of drugs or protein… whatever.

Do you want to be seriously strong? I mean Seriously SERIOUSLY, RIDICULOUSLY STRONG?

Here’s what you do… You do only 2 Exercise this month…. Dead lift and Squat.

We are using Only 1 Rep with weights and no limits on sets… But we are going to lift ridiculously heavy.

After every rep, increase your weight by 10-20 pounds and keep doing until you can’t even budge the barbell from the floor (or squat rack).

Do it 4 times a week. No need to go after Personal record every session… Make some sessions bit lighter than others… But don’t go easy at all…

After every session you should be lying in your own sweat and blood… That’s how you become strong… Your break through your physical and mental barriers…
