There was this article I read in a newspaper today about botox and how it changed people’s live. This article reminded me of my meeting with a Yoga master 5 years ago.
I got her number from a friend who is a yoga fanatic. Now when it comes to Yoga, pranayama, I always like to meet experts and learn from them, so I decided to check her out.
I met with a beautiful woman with long black hair, barely in early thirties. She had a different glow and her demeanor attracted me. I knew I found someone who understands yoga as more than just physical.
So we chatted for couple of hours, discussing how to improve asanas, breathing systems and other stuff. When she was talking about her training I noticed her talking about things and events like she was there.
Surprisingly I blurted out. “How old are you?”
I know I shouldn’t ask a women’s age. My bad… But she was surprisingly calm and told me, “You know, my eldest son is older than you”. WHAAAA… My eyes literally popped up.
“I am 56.”
Holy… So I had to ask her the Secret of Being Young.
She gave me some of those tips. She told me that Yoga and Pranayama are the major aspects of it. It figured a lot. and then She said, But without a proper Lifestyle it’s useless.
She also talked about How People live diluted Lifestyle. They are stressed out, They have lifestyle which reeks of Bad habits. They are in Rush to get everything.
In the end, she concluded, its more about living Resistance Free. When you are resistance free, you move like a wind, stand like mountain, strike like thunder, rise like fire. (I know some of my Japanese friends will resonate with this quote)
Resistance Free, interesting. Right?
It took me many months to understand her explanations about this. My first thought was it’s about mindset.
But I felt, it’s still incomplete. There’s something missing.
While I was thinking about all this, another thought struck to my mind. How can anyone decrease resistance when it comes to losing weight?
I started counting on my fingers, NLP, Hypnosis, self talk, EFT, sedona. That’s all from the top of my head.
When we have all these technologies, then why don’t we use it? Simple, because people are still ignorant about these techniques. I know NLP and hypnosis are time consuming but not EFT or Sedona. Often you can do it in under 5 minutes and feel the difference.
And that’s how fast you can be resistance free from negative thoughts, emotions and other nonsense programmed into your head since your birth.
