Making Dieting Easier for you with these 3 steps
Experts, trainers make information too much complicated. I believe they do it to make them sound professional or may be important. I don’t care what kind of degrees your client has, if you don’t give her a simple and easy to follow steps, you are doing a dis-service. That’s one the reason I always make my workouts and diet easy to follow.
I am going to discuss 3 steps that’ll help you start your diet and follow it with success. Starting and keeping it has lot to do with mindset rather than willpower. So here goes
1. Start a Food Journal – I always advice to start a food journal. Why? because it’ll help you keep track of what kind of food you are eating, What kind of food you should eliminate and what kind of food you are allergic to.
Yes, so often not only clients but trainers also forget about allergic reactions to food. If you keep a journal, you’ll be able to know what food you are allergic to.
Second good thing about keeping journal is that it keeps you honest. It’ll show you where you have to improve your diet. Which kind of food you should avoid.
Third thing this will allow you to judge what kind of food components you are getting in your diet. It’ll be easy to see how much protein, carbohydrates or fat you are getting.
2. Cut down all the junk food - You’d be surprised how much change it’d make, if you just cut down all the junk food you eat. That includes, colas, sodas, beer and coffee too. Again, not complicating the difference between junk food and health food here’s a philosophy that I’ve adopted from Crossfit guys.
In plain language, base your diet on garden vegetables, especially greens, lean meats, nuts and seeds, little starch, and no sugar.
Just this simple change will help you drop fat like it’s nobody’s business.
3. Shop at full stomach – This is such a silly thing or habit which is going to help you in shopping. If you haven’t noticed yet, people tend to stuff their mouths with something while they are shopping. So it’s always a good idea to take a meal/snack before you head out to shopping.
