Are You Dieting at the Expense of Your Sex Drive?

Are you following a diet at the expense of your sex drive?

What does your diet has to do with libido?

Most of the top established diets are harmful in long run. And they are killing your libido with calorie restrictive diets.

People, experts love calorie counting (restricted) diet and quite a few established diets (like weight watchers) use this kind of diet to get the results people want. Yet, so far this method has yet to live up to its reputation.

These diets are popular due to the ease of understanding. They believe all the calories is same. Heck it’d be too when it’s counted as energy expenditure. But human body does not work like that.

A sugar donut with 100 calorie (just a guess) is going to cause far more trouble and gain more fat than getting 100 calories from Fruits or veggies.

Why? because in calorie counting we tend to forget what happens when we eat stuff. There’s an insulin spike whenever you eat and depending on your insulin spike, you’ll be saving fats in your body. Evidence supports the idea that too much insulin (hyperinsulimia) may affect the body’s ability to use calories efficiently, thereby causing obesity.

This sensitivity problem causes the pancreas to over-compensate by releasing even more insulin. This leads to two common outcomes: diabetes, or obesity plus high cholesterol and increased rates of heart disease.

That’s why, I am suggesting to you is that all calories are not created equal. Your body has adapted to utilize calories from certain food better than others.

Well it doesn’t stop just here.

1. It often lower the body temperature, which is basically the sign of metabolic decline and lower thyroid activity.

2. Let’s not talk about killing the sex drive and impairs the ability to maintain vigor, potency or fertility.

3. Worse case scenario kills the ability to endure intense exercise and for that matter, build muscles.
