Real Secret to Lose weight after 40
You know, I got many questions from folks asking if they can use my power 10 minute workouts if they are over 40.
Well I thought I should clear this question today…
You see, It doesn’t matter how old you are.. If you are going to do any exercise, You need to provide a proper set up or build up to your body.
What I mean is “You DON’T go nuts with 10 sprints on the first day”
No way, You have to build up to it.
You see when I was 22 and needed to drop some extra pounds(about 30). I didn’t go and ran like 10 sprints.
This is what I did..
For first day I just walked for 45 minutes
Next day I added 10 minute jog and I spent only 40 minutes of fast walking.
Third day… I just jogged, No more fast walking.
Fourth day… I ran my first sprint. After the first sprint. I checked if my body can handle stress for another sprint. Well I felt I could do it.. So I did another sprint and rest of my time on fast walking…
Are you getting me? If you are out of workout habit you need to tell your body, make a new habit.
Well, anyways we were talking about losing fat above 40.
Right.
Its not much different. You need to get your body into right habit. Start with light warm up exercise. then some stretching.. and thats it for the day…
As you are growing old, you have to take care of your Joints, Ligaments, Tendons and muscles. That’s why Warm up and stretching is very very very very important.
When you are 16, you could get away with no warm up… but as you grow old, ignore and you are asking for trouble.
And next day improve on your previous best. Its simple
