2. Strong ab muscles will provide support for your back and spine. Which means, you won't have problems with back pain and stuff like that.

3. Ab training will strengthen your internal organs, improve digestion and improve your overall energy.

How to Start Your Ab routine?

To start with. If you want your abs to show up, you need to drop your overall body fat percentage. Yes that means you need to worry about losing fat.

As you are dropping the fat, ab training will start making your abs stronger and more prominent in the mid section.

That's why someone said "Abs are made/lost in the Kitchen". You do need a diet plan, you do need a fat loss workout and you do need an ab routine.
